In terms of output, from January to December 2021, China's power battery output accumulated 219.7gwh. Among them, the total output of ternary battery is 93.9gwh, accounting for 42.7%; The cumulative output of lithium iron phosphate battery is 125.4gwh, accounting for 57.1%.
In terms of installed capacity, from January to December 2021, the installed capacity of power batteries in China accumulated 154.5gwh. The total installed capacity of ternary battery is 74.3gwh, accounting for 48.1%; The installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate battery is 79.8gwh, accounting for 51.7%.
In terms of data, lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are popular among terminal vehicle enterprises and battery manufacturers, are higher than ternary batteries in terms of output and installed capacity. Industry insiders said that ternary batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries have their own advantages and disadvantages. The parallel development of the two routes is the industry trend.
